Χρυσές Σφαίρες 2018: Μαύρο και χρυσό στην 75η απονομή

Σχεδόν όλοι οι καλεσμένοι της φετινής απονομής, από τους λαμπερούς αστέρες μέχρι το προσωπικό δήλωσαν τη συμπαράστασή τους στο κίνημα #metoo και #timesup εναντίον της παρενόχλησης, της κακοποίησης και της βίας κατά των γυναικών.

Η πρόεδρος του Hollywood Foreing Press Association, Meher Tatna, επέλεξε να φορέσει βαθύ κόκκινο και μία κονκάρδα με το λογότυπο του #timesup, σε ιδιαίτερα εμφανές σημείο, ακολουθώντας τον φετινό οικοδεσπότη Seth Meyer στην έναρξη της βραδιάς με αυτά τα λόγια: “Ο χρόνος τελείωσε για την παρενόχληση, την κακοποίηση και τις διακρίσεις”.

Οι φετινές Χρυσές Σφαίρες είχαν σίγουρα επίκεντρο τη γυναίκα. Αρχικά με την Oprah Winfrey, η οποία παρέλαβε το βραβείο Cecil B. deMille, αλλά και τη Nicole Kidman και την Elizabeth Moss, οι οποίες παρέλαβαν από μια Χρυσή Σφαίρα γις τις ερμηνείες τους, ενώ η 75η απονομή των Χρυσών Σφαιρών ανέδειξε επίσης το The Handmaid’s Tale (2 Σφαίρες) και το Big Little Lies (3 Σφαίρες), τα οποία ηγήθηκαν στην Τηλεοπτικές κατηγορίες καθώς και τις ταινίες Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri (4 Σφαίρες) και Lady Bird (2 Σφαίρες) – παραγωγές που όλες τους αφορούν και επικεντρώνονται στη γυναίκα.

Η Oprah Winfrey παραλαμβάνοντας το βραβείο της έκλεισε με τη φράση: “Μια καινούρια μέρα έρχεται, όπου κανένας δεν θα χρειάζεται να φοβάται να πει την αλήθεια”.
