The Athens Bar Show, one of the leading trade shows for the international bar industry, returns this year to Technopolis City of Athens, bringing together professionals, brands and speakers from dozens of countries for two days of education, networking and inspiration.
The first edition took place in 2010 at the Metropolitan Expo, with nine exhibitors and around a thousand visitors. Now in its 16th edition, Athens Bar Show has become an international point of reference for the bar and hospitality industry and an annual meeting point for professionals from across the sector.
This year, the event takes place on Tuesday 3 and Wednesday 4 November, from 11:00 to 19:00.

Dozens of seminars and masterclasses, all included in your ticket
Education is at the heart of the event. Athens Bar Show is organised by Bar Academy, which has been training industry professionals since 2007, with schools in Athens, Thessaloniki and Heraklion.
Seminars and masterclasses run in parallel on both days, in dedicated rooms within the exhibition venue. All seminars are included in the admission ticket, with no additional fees or advance registration required.

Many of the stages offer simultaneous interpretation between Greek and English via headsets, allowing participants to follow presentations in their preferred language.
The seminar programme covers a wide range of topics, from modern techniques and creativity behind the bar to management, hospitality, personal development and the developments shaping the future of the industry.

More than 100 exhibitors at Technopolis City of Athens
The buildings and courtyards of Technopolis will host more than 100 exhibitors and stands. Visitors can discover new products, explore equipment up close and speak directly with the people behind the brands. It’s an opportunity to make connections that might otherwise take months of emails and meetings to establish.
Every visitor receives a tasting glass upon entry, sponsored by LAV HORECA, which they can keep as a souvenir. Athens Bar Show is committed to eliminating single-use plastic cups, with Winterhalter supporting this initiative through professional glasswashing systems designed to minimise resource consumption. Waste management has been a priority for the event since 2018.

Athens Bar Week: Five days of events in bars across Athens
Alongside the exhibition, Athens Bar Week takes place from Sunday 1 to Thursday 5 November. The citywide festival accompanies Athens Bar Show every year, extending the experience beyond the exhibition venue.
For five days, bars across Athens host an extensive programme of events, including guest shifts, pop-ups and collaborations with bartenders and bars from Greece and abroad. Leading figures from the international bar scene step behind the city’s bars, giving the public the opportunity to discover their work and philosophy first-hand.
In this way, the Athens Bar Show experience extends beyond Technopolis and across the city.
On Monday 2 November, the Athens Bar Show Welcome Night brings the international bar community together at STOA Culture, from 19:00 to 22:30, with pop-up bars from Greece and abroad, signature cocktails and music played exclusively on vinyl.
METAXA is the event’s major sponsor, welcoming guests with a complimentary drink, while Three Cents premium mixers joins as a supporting partner.
Entry is open to all Athens Bar Show ticket holders.

A diverse audience from across the hospitality industry
Bartenders make up around a third of visitors. Waiters and assistants account for a similar share, while approximately 15% are managers and owners. Other visitors include baristas, chefs, sommeliers, hotel F&B executives, suppliers and students.
A significant proportion of visitors travel from abroad specifically to attend the exhibition. In 2024, 33% of visitors came from other countries, primarily from Europe, the Balkans and the Middle East.
